Show off your new artwork properly with the perfect execution. Hanging one or more pieces should flow with your decor to create a luxurious and unified look. Arrange your artwork on your wall like a professional and hang at the right height with these top tips.

HANG ARTWORK AT EYE-LEVEL

HANG ARTWORK AT EYE-LEVEL
The centre of your artwork should be 56” -60” from the floor.
Between 56”-60” from the floor, your artwork will hang at eye level for most people - making the centre of your artwork directly in the line of sight for your guests, making it perfect to show off!
If you’re hanging your artwork in an extra tall room, you can get away with hanging your artwork closer to the 60” mark!

HANGING ARTWORK ABOVE FURNITURE

HANGING ARTWORK ABOVE FURNITURE
The base of your artwork should hang 6”-8” above your furniture.
If you’re placing your new artwork above your sofa, console or any piece of furniture, the rule of thumb is to hang it between 6”-8” above the furniture.
This will tie the piece to the furniture for a coherent look. If you’re still able to hang the artwork at eye-level that’s great, but if your artwork is too big just aim for about 12 inches above the floor.

Artwork should be 3”-6” apart and fill ⅔ of the width of the furniture below.
If you’ve got multiple frames to hang, space them between 3” to 6” apart to prevent creating a disconnect between the pieces.
If you’re working with smaller artwork, create a gallery wall to fill two thirds of the width of the furniture below.
